The Proper Story
Founded in 2013 in Salt Lake City, the Proper family has continued to grow year in and year out. Starting with Avenues Proper in the Avenues neighborhood of downtown, we began as a crew of service industry misfits with a passion for craft beer. Expanding in 2016 to Proper Brewing Co and Proper Burger Co Downtown, we took our excitement for hand crafted cuisine and properly brewed beer and brought it statewide. With far reaching distribution and locations from Salt Lake City to Moab, our large Proper family works hand in hand to keep the same never prim, always proper vision alive. Whether you’re refueling after a hike in the desert with a burger, crushing a beer at the Viv while cheering on the Jazz, or celebrating with family over a fine dining meal, we’ve got what you need to create Proper Utah memories.
